Parents of children with complex needs do not want a caregiver. They want the one caregiver.
Consistency matters more in pediatric care than anywhere else we work. A child with a developmental disability spends real energy learning to trust a new adult, and spending that energy every week on a new face is a cost with no return. We staff for the same person, and we tell you honestly when we cannot.
What does in-home pediatric care include?
Non-medical support built around the child's day: help with morning and bedtime routines, dressing, feeding including specialized diets and textures, mobility assistance, age-appropriate developmental and social play, transportation to therapy and appointments, and scheduled respite for parents. Caregivers are background-checked and matched for consistency, so the same person builds a relationship with the child over time.
What a caregiver actually does.
The daily routine
Waking, dressing, breakfast, and getting out the door for school, or the same sequence in reverse at night. The parts of the day that are hardest to do alone.
Feeding assistance
Support with specialized diets and textures exactly as the parents and the child's care team have set them out, without improvisation.
Play that is actually developmental
Age-appropriate and ability-appropriate engagement, planned with the parents and aligned to what the child's therapists are already working on.
Mobility assistance
Safe transfers, positioning, and equipment support for children with physical disabilities.
Rides to therapy
Occupational, physical, and speech therapy appointments, which are frequent and which quietly consume a working parent's entire week.
Respite for parents
Scheduled hours that belong to you. Parents of children with complex needs are the most under-supported caregivers in this field.

Are caregivers background-checked?
Yes. Every applicant consents to a criminal background check and to verification of three professional references, and both are completed before hire.
Will we get the same caregiver every time?
That is the goal and we staff for it deliberately. We will also tell you plainly when a schedule cannot be covered by your regular caregiver instead of quietly substituting someone.
Can care happen while I am at work?
Yes. Daytime, after-school, and evening coverage are all common pediatric schedules. Bring your work schedule and the child's therapy calendar to the assessment.
