Eleven kinds of care, and one plan written for one person.
Every service below is non-medical in-home care delivered in Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and across the Triangle. Start with whichever page matches your situation.
All care services
Memory and neurological
Conditions where the routine, the environment, and the timing of care matter as much as the tasks.
- Dementia and Alzheimer's Care A familiar house is the last thing to stop making sense. Keeping someone in it is not sentiment, it is strategy.
- Epilepsy and Seizure Support The fear is not the seizure. The fear is the seizure happening while nobody is there.
- Parkinson's Care Parkinson's does not run on your schedule. Care that ignores the on and off cycle is care that fights the disease.
Daily living
The ongoing support that makes staying at home safe, sustainable, and worth doing.
- Personal Care The person you are helping into the shower once helped you into one. Everything about how this is done matters.
- Companion Care Loneliness is not a soft problem. It shows up in blood pressure, in appetite, and in how fast a mind slips.
- Respite Care You cannot pour from an empty cup, and you have been pouring since March.
Recovery and disability
Support through the weeks after a hospital stay, and the years after a diagnosis.
- Physical Disability Support Independence is not doing everything yourself. It is deciding how everything gets done.
- Post-Surgical Recovery The complication is almost never the surgery. It is day four at home, alone, doing too much.
- Transitional Care Most readmissions are not medical failures. They are logistical ones.
Children and veterans
Two groups whose care needs are specific and whose families are usually navigating a system alone.
What is the difference between home health and home care?
Home health is skilled medical care ordered by a physician and delivered by nurses and therapists. Home care, which is what we provide, is non-medical support with daily life. Families often use both at once. Knowing the difference before you call saves everyone a wasted week.
We are non-medical caregivers.
We assist with daily living, safety, mobility, meals, medication reminders, and companionship. We do not perform wound care, injections, IV management, or other skilled nursing tasks. Those come from a home health nurse, and the two services work well side by side.
We do not diagnose or prescribe.
Caregivers observe, document, and escalate. Clinical decisions belong to the physician, and our notes are meant to make those decisions better informed.
We do not file VA claims.
We help veteran families understand Aid and Attendance and organize documents, then we provide the care. Preparing or presenting the claim itself requires VA accreditation.
Start with a free in-home assessment.
We come to the home, look at the real situation, and give you a written plan. No cost, no obligation, and no pressure to decide on the spot.
